Ok, I saw this and it made me think of something and I’d love to hear some of your opinions about it. Matt got these Warby Parkers glasses. You get five glasses in the mail, try them all on, tell them what frames you want, mail them back, and they send them to you with your prescription. So Matt really liked one pair, and I liked another pair. I didn’t hate the ones he liked, but they weren’t my favorite. He was kind of freaking out saying he had to get the ones I liked, but I don’t agree. Just because we are married doesn’t mean we have to forsake our personal taste and preferences. When we were dating, we didn’t ask for each others opinions on the way we dressed and looked. We just liked the other person and were happy with who they were. Everything Matt wore might not have been my favorite, but I appreciated his taste and who he was. I don’t think once your married you should have to base your looks around your spouses “ideal” you. That would make things so boring! I like it a lot more when Matt does his own thing because even though everything isn’t my favorite, it’s who he is and I like that. Make sense? I don’t know, maybe I have this all wrong.

My husband got his degree in the mail today, I am so proud of him. We sacrificed and he worked so hard for this. Yay!
