Fitness Lately

Just thought I’d share with you guys my current workout log so you can see what I’m up to. The weights aren’t super impressive, but considering where I was when I started (I was so weak!), I’m very proud of where I’m at. 

A Day


Squats 5x5 @95lbs. 

Back Raise 3x10

Overhead Press 5x5 @50lbs.

Cable Rows 3x8 @60lbs.

Abs (I cycle through a few different ab workouts) 

Cardio

B Day


Push ups 5x5

Chest Press 5x5 @50lbs.

Chin ups 5x5

Curls 3x10 @35lbs. 

Abs

Cardio

*For cardio I run about 15 minutes of intervals. I walk for about two minutes to warm up, run 30 seconds, walk one minute. I do this until I’ve run 10 times.

Hey Guys

I have a friend I’m going to promote on here and you should for real follow him. He is in a local fitness group with me and the dude is ripped! Standstill

   I feel like I’m at a stand still with my weight loss progress. I know this is pretty common but it is none-the-less annoying. Nothing has really changed. I still hit the gym three days a week, still increasing my weights, doing cardio. My diet is the same. Well I have been eating a little less because my new medication has decreased my appetite. That could be it I guess, maybe my metabolism is slowing down. I really wish there was more time in the week for walking and adding in more cardio. I can’t think of anything else to do. I want to be in that bikini asap. I’m going to walk a few miles today and hopefully once school is out for Indi I’ll be able to find the time for more work outs. I’m pretty frustrated this morning though :/

I JUST bought these shorts a few weeks ago and now they are almost falling off of me. Am I just supposed to wear yoga pants until I reach my goals? (Taken with instagram)

I asked Matt to come to the gym with me today to spot me and push me to do heavier weights. The result was a great, intense workout. I almost doubled all my weight. Matt snapped this picture of me doing assisted pull ups and it made me so proud. My body has come a long way since November. The thing I noticed first in this photo was my butt. I know it sounds silly but that’s the part of my body I’ve noticed the most change. I had a reasonably sized butt before but it was sort of flat and had cellulite. Now it’s bigger, firmer, and oh so awesome. I’m proud of that! Squats have definitely worked for me. Anyways, just wanted to share because I feel exhilarated right now.
